Our designer describes the purpose & heart behind these pendants:
"Our fingerprint pendants are most popular with moms. Recently, a woman approaching her ninetieth birthday placed her fingerprints in silver that we dipped in patina finish for a beautiful aged effect. The backside of each one was signed 'Love, Mom" and was immediately obvious that it would become a source of comfort for her daughters for years to come - a way for her girls to hold her hand beyond her life & close to their hearts. On the flip side, I've made quite a few of these for young moms with infants & small children. I think instinctively we know that we'll feel fondness and a longing for the child-raising season of life & this is a way to hang on to it. Kind of a special piece. I'm firing these in 99.9% silver or gold. I'm also firing heart-shaped duo of fingerprints for couples. We can write a name, date, latitude/longitude, word or short sentiment on the backside as well."

- requires 2 weeks to process fingerprint (add $100 for rush processing)
- fingerprinting occurs in our Austin, Tx studio (roughly a 15 minute appointment)
